Make Windows Vista Fast
Another thing is they add many really cool functionalities to it.
This is one thing I don't like. It's graphical user interface.
Anyway all the graphical effects used in vista kills the battery life of your laptop when you are on battery mode. Plus it will slow down your machine. If you don't like graphical interface you can switch to classical user interface. This will increase the speed of your machine. In vista that wont kill the functionalities. It improves the battery life of my laptop.
I didn't do any registry edit or tweaks to improve the speed. I have tried many tweak software but it doesn't do much help.
Update: I found this is not that stable even though it clear up memory. However, this I not sure is it only because of theme change.
