How to Change Windows 7 Theme

I try to give a short tutorial how to change theme in Windows 7. I use Windows 7 Professional OS and hopefully it will help you.
1. On the desktop, Right Click and select Personalize. You will see My Themes, Aero Themes and Installed Themes.
2. Please select one of the theme, for example in Aero Themes you will find Windows 7, Architecture, Characters, Landscape, Nature and Scenes. Just select one of them and you will provide how the change of the theme for your Windows 7.
3. On the right side you will see Get more themes online which will go to Microsoft website. On there you will see many categories themes like Animals, Art and entertainment, Automotive, Branded themes, Hoidays, Nature, and Places and landscapes. You can download it for free and copy to your Windows 7.
4. The files usually have a large sizes, for example the Bing Best theme has 24.5MB. Click the Download text and save the file in your hard drive. The file has themepack extension, so you can install it by click it twice and it will put the themes right on the themes folder.
5. After already finish install the theme, you can see it on the Personalization and change the desktop theme as you want.

Methods to Transfer Emails Between Two Gmail Accounts- 3 Methods
#1. Your email address is unprofessional and now you want to change to some other neat address.
#2. You are receiving huge amount of junk and now want to use new one. Therefore, you want to migrate emails from old Gmail account to new one.
#3. You got multiple active Gmail accounts and now you want to use only one Gmail account. So in this condition, you want to transfer old emails from multiple places and paste them into newly-active Gmail account.
We can approach this problem with 3 different ways. Mail transferring methods depends on how you want it and how much you want it? It could be as simple as setting a filter or as complex as downloading all mails to computer and uploading them to new mailbox.
Let’s look at 3 possible solutions to transfer emails between two Gmail accounts:
1. Set up a Filter for Forwarding Old and New MailsThis is one of the simplest method that I have found. All you need to do is set up a filter that forwards all incoming mails to your new Gmail account and then checking the “Also apply filter to x conversations below” checkbox. This is a very simple method but its effectiveness is not guaranteed though, it is working for me.
However, there are two disadvantages of this method. One, you need to keep alive your old account. Second, mails send to a list that you are a part are not forwarded to your new account so you need to come back to your old account periodically.
Note: If you don’t want your old messages then you can choose auto-forwarding from settings, which is lot more easy and a sure-shot way to get mails from old accounts.
2. Leverage POP for Downloading and Transferring MailsThis method is strongly recommended for comprehensive transferring. You can leverage Gmail’s fantastic POP ability to download mails from one account to another account. Just follow these steps –
In Your Old Account
1. Go to Forwarding and POP/IMAP option in Gmail Settings.
2. Select the first option Enable POP for all mail (even mail that’s already been downloaded) in the POP Download section.
3. Save your settings.
In the New Account
1. Goto the Accounts and Import option in Gmail Settings.
2. Click on Add POP3 email account button from the Check mail using POP3 section.
3. Fill up your old account information in the pop-up. Choose all defaults fields except POP server to pop.gmail.com.
4. Save your settings. You are done.
In this method, mails will not be transferred at once and it may take few hours if your inbox is gigantic. Unfortunately Gmail chat history will not be transferred.
This is the best method I have seen for complete migration. It is often referred as Mail Fetcher. GMail provides complete support for this here.
3. Migrate Completely – Even Moving Your Labels with YouOne common problem of migration is that all mail labels are lost. Even though, you have transferred your accounts successfully, you will end up in unorganized mailbox.
Guys at lifehacker has taken this seriously and they have come up with a lengthy but very effective process to migrate mailbox completely here. Basically, they have removed all multi-label mails, applied them a single label and then used desktop client to drag-n-drop mails between various folders. You can find complete tutorial here.
Any of these 3 methods can be used for moving emails from different Gmail accounts to single consolidated one. Choose the one that best suites your needs.

Change Windows XP to Vista Themes

Gmail check your state of mind
By default it will check your state of mind during the weekend nights. But if you think you will loose control in any other day you better change the default settings to suit you.
How Gmail know your in good state when you send an email? Simple it just give you couple of simple math questions to answer. If you can solve it it knows that you feel alright.
I think this is not a good idea for you if you are really bad at Maths. You will not be able to send any emails.

Windows Group Policy – Hacks and Tricks
In Windows XP operating system if you change any Windows group policy setting it just apply it to Administrator account as well. Especially if you restrict some access to hard drive partition or Run Command it restrict for Administrator as well. That depends on the setting you apply is a user account policy or machine policy. Normally Machine policy will apply to all the users. You can control user account policies base on users. However, Windows XP dose not support domain users like Windows server versions so even user account policies will apply to all the users.
I am using a simple trick to solve this issue. Not 100% but it makes life easier. In the beginning I just mention to copy a shortcut of gpedit.msc to the desktop. Reason behind that is when you play with Windows group Policies it is very easy to hide or prevent access to your hard drives. You will notice it after you restart your machine. Now you do not have access to gpedit.msc.
You might have prevent access to “Run” as well.
Trick 1:
If you done something like above situation you can simply solve it by creating a shortcut manually.
Right click on the desktop and go to “new” and select “shortcut”. It will ask you to give a path. If you have prevent access to your hard drive then you will not able to select the path so just select some other target like Desktop and click “Finish”. Right click on the shortcut that you created and select properties and fill the details for gpedit.msc
Default Values
Target: C:\WINDOWS\system32\gpedit.msc
Start in: C:\WINDOWS\system32\
Click “Apply” and it will create a shortcut for gpedit.msc and now you will able to access gpedit.msc and change Group Policy
Trick 2:
Use Trick 1 and before you disable any Program or Hard Drive you can create a short cut in Desktop. It will allow you to access these programs while other uses do not have any access.
Example: Prevent Access to Computer Hard Drives
First create a short cut to the Drives you going to hide or prevent access.
Then open the gpedit.msc [Start > Run > (type) gpedit.msc > Enter]
In Group Policy > User Configuration > Administrative Template > Desktop > Enable the “Remove My Computer icon on the Desktop”
If you need specific driver to be hidden you can go to In Group Policy > User Configuration > Administrative Template > Windows Component > Windows Explorer > and select the specific drivers from “hide these specific drivers from My Computer”
If you prevent access for My Computer, shortcuts will not be working.
Installing an Operating System on Your USB
1. Portability - Not like a CD USB a flash drive is really small and you have high capacity so you will be able to have your files as well. Also, it is more reliable.
2. In a situation where your current OS is crashed you can retrieve the important files to your USB or another external hard drive.
3. Of course your can access any computer without cracking user names or passwords. But do not do that as it is not ethical. Other hand it is impossible to stop your data been exposed or destroyed if you give access to hardware.
4. Recover Lost or forgotten passwords for your current OS. This is a quite interesting hack and can do many experiments based on it.
Restart - Simplest Way to fix a Problem
Even after proper shut down it will not completely wiped out for couple seconds or for couple of minutes. So it is always leave your computer off for couple of seconds or minute before starting up again. If you had to pull the power off always better to do a proper shut down and start it again. It will eliminate most of the problems out of your computer.
Is it always safe to reboot? No, even though proper restart fix most of the problems there are situation where you should not restart your computer. specially if you think your computer is infected with a virus or any kind of malware it is not safe to restart. Some viruses or Trojans will get the initial trigger and give the best chance to properly installed. Like other programs need a good restart to configure and installed properly, viruses and Trojans need it too. If you feel like your computer is infected it is always good to install a good antivirus and update it. Then reboot it in safe mod and do a full scan. There are situations where restart is not going to work.
Restart is not only solve computer problems. Even software problems will be solve. For example in Outlook sometimes emails will be stuck in outbox. Most of the time it can be solved by just closing the Outlook properly and starting it again.
Even this is relevant to humans. Small nap or good night sleep ill refresh you. You have been struggling solve a problem for hours and did not work out, but just after a small break you or a sleep you solve it. Take a break from any problem and come back to it. Much easier to fix it.
"C_1252.nls File Missing or Corrupt" During Startup
Great computer does not boot up. It keeps on booting up again and again. I tried to boot up in safe-mod. No luck at all it get stuck on half way through. Then I stop restarting the machine and disable restarting machine in a serious crash. Then I restart it again it stuck in black screen and took five six minute to show up error message.
The file D:\windows\system32\c_1252.nls is missing or corrupt
When I was a kid only solution was to format and reinstall a fresh copy of windows. But now what I understood is you can retrieve windows from any kind of crash.
Search for Google and Google direct to Microsoft. Microsoft support gives these following options to solve this problem.
Method 1: Check the Hard Disk for Errors
1. Insert the Windows XP CD, and then restart the computer. If you are prompted, select any options that you must select to start Windows XP from the CD.
2. When the text-based part of Setup begins, follow the instructions that appear on the screen. To select the repair or the recover option, press R.
3. If you have a dual-start or multiple-start computer, select the installation that you must access from the Recovery Console.
4. When prompted, type the Administrator password.
5.At the command prompt, type the following command and then press the ENTER key: chkdsk /r
6. To exit the Recovery Console and restart the computer, type exit, and then press the ENTER key.
Method 2: Replace Missing Files
1. Insert the Windows XP CD, and then restart the computer. If you are prompted, select any options that you must select to start Windows XP from the CD.
2. When the text-based part of Setup begins, follow the instructions that appear on the screen. To select the repair or the recover option, press R.
3. If you have a dual-start or multiple-start computer, select the installation that you must access from the Recovery Console.
4. When prompted, type the Administrator password.
5. At the command prompt, type the following commands ( press ENTER after each command): cd system32 ren c_1252.nls c_1252.old expand drive:\i386\c_1252.nl_ c:\windows\system32 Where drive is the drive letter of the CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive.
6. To exit the Recovery Console and restart the computer, type exit, and then press the ENTER key.
Note There may be additional files missing. Repeat this method to replace any other missing files.
Always things will not work as it appears in the help pages, because our environment might be bit different to the environment they describe. I manage to complete the first option successfully but it took more than half an hour. But it not fixes the problem.
I had to move to the second option. I type the exact commands as it asks me to type. I keep on getting the error message “Access denied” every time I perform the following code.

That’s all because I have another windows installation in C: drive but originally I have logged in to another Windows Installation. Remember to change the command to suite the correct installation.

How to change the Drive Letter and the Path
Steps to add change the driver letter
(You can follow the same steps in Windows Vista and XP)
- Go to Control Panel
- Go to Administrative Tools
- Go to Computer Management
- Select Disk Management under Storage

It will give options to Add, Change or Remove a driver letter. It is actually manually mounting hard drive in Windows.
Block websites you don’t want to visit
Why you should block any websites?
1. Even it is your personal computer there is great chance of going to these nasty website that install adwares, spywares and all these unwanted stuff in your computer. Some websites are using banner advertisements from different websites. These websites should be blocked.
2.You might be managing couple of uses or computers and you don’t want them to go to certain URLs. Cool if any of these are your requirement then you can follow this. Secret is in the
C:\Windows\system32\drivers\etc\.
Path might be different from windows version or the way you install your windows.
You will find couple of files there; protocol, service, network and host. File you will be required is host (there is no extension for that file). If you don’t find it you can create it (Right click > new > create a text document and remove the extension).
Sample host file will look like this.

create exact file and add any number of URL in the same format (127.0.0.1) and save it. Sometimes you might have to restart the machine but it worked for me without restarting.
Cool all the URLs listed there will be blocked.
Cannot Reply to Emails in Microsoft Outlook.
Microsoft Outlook gets close when I try to reply to an email.
Microsoft Outlook gets close when I try to forward an email.
Or Outlook close with an error message when I try to reply or forward an email.
Reason
If you disable “Use Microsoft Word 2003 to Edit e-mail messages” by any chance and if you received an email from Outlook which enables this feature you will not able to forward or reply to this email. It will generate a run time error. Either it will request you to report it to Microsoft or if you have disable this feature outlook will close without any error or warning.
Solution
Disable “Use Microsoft Word 2003 to Edit e-mail messages”. In that way you prevent someone else who is not using this feature in Outlook crashing his/her outlook when he/she try to forward or reply to your email.
If you are facing this error you can simply check whether you disable “Use Microsoft Word 2003 to Edit e-mail messages” and enable it temporary. Then you can request sender to disable this feature if you are in a position to do so.

Normally when you log in to a computer via remote desktop it disable the Restart, Shut down functions.
I don’t think it is a good idea to shut down a machine via remote desktop. How you would going to switch on the computer. Then How to restart your computer via remote desktop? There are couple of ways you can do this
1. Alt+F4 is one of the easiest ways you can do it. Then select the Restart.
2. Ctr+Alt+End and the select the Restart
3. Start > Run > then type shutdown.exe
There are many more ways you can do it and it may change depending on the Windows version you use. I have use this in Windows XP and Windows 2003 but I haven't got any chance to test this on Windows vista.
Quick Restart - Windows Vista
You can restart your machine without restating your machine.
Trick:
Click the Restart button when you are holding the Shift button. Next time when your antivirus software updates and ask you restart you don’t have to worry.
If you were working on Internet explorer it will not open automatically when you restart. But do not worry when you open it manually it will open all the websites you were working on. I found a small problem if I was Log in to Gmail or Blogger those session were lost. Other than that this is a cool trick and really useful.

When you Google “How to hack msn messenger”, “How to hack yahoo email account” or “How to hack msn” it comes up with hell lot of results which seems to be really easy task.
I don’t say it is impossible to hack some-one's msn account or yahoo account or any other email account. It is not that hard as well. However, do not trust all the results which comes in Google or any other search result; because 99% of them will hack your own email account or it will install some back doors, Trojans or Any other unwanted programs in to your machine.
This is a method that MSN Staff use to retrieve lost passwords when they needed. It is really simple you just need to send email to the following address in exact format.
Format they ask is Email Subject “Retrieve Password” and then in the email body first line should be your email address. Second line should be your password and then leave a blank line and then email address you want to hack. How easy it that. They promise that it will send the password to your email address. I don’t think MSN staff is that stupid to do such retrieval method. Final result would be who ever post that would get your email address and password. If you have already done something like that please change your password and secret question as soon as possible.
Second common thing is they give out small software that you can download. I even feel like down load it and try it on one of my friends email address. I can hack in to his msn messenger and see what he/she is been doing. How cool is that. Again there is a but. Most probably those software that pretend to be hacking tools are embedded with viruses Trojans or Back doors. I don’t say all these hacking tools are like that. But download them in to a cheap and nasty computer that you don’t use for your private work. Use it only for testing. Otherwise by trying to hack someone else email account you probably end up been hacked or been traced or infected with viruses.
So think twice before you follow any of these methods. Hacking someone else yahoo account or msn account is fun. But do not take the easy way.
