EA wants to make a comedy film about the "Madden Curse", a curse that befalls footballers who feature on the cover of the EA Sports' "Madden NFL" football video games and subsequently suffer injury and/or bad performances in real life.

The movie is going to be called the "Madden Curse" and it will be about a former Madden game champ who is featured on the video game's cover. He is forced to come out of retirement and is hit by the Madden curse. Madden also has a reality show on TV, "Madden Nation", about the lives of football stars and Pat O'Brien, VP at EA Entertainment is going to be one of the producers of the film.
